October 2009 – Lesa Klepper is member of healthcare delegation to South Africa
Chicago, IL - Lesa Klepper, Chief Operating Officer for Healthcare Receivables Group, recently returned from South Africa, where she visited as a member of a delegation from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) under the leadership of President and CEO Richard L. Clarke, DHA, FHFMA.
Klepper and 11 other healthcare professionals from health systems and hospitals from around the country met for 10 days with eight healthcare organizations representing the South African government, payers, providers and related organizations. The delegates traveled to Johannesburg and Cape Town for meetings with counterparts regarding the South African economy, the current healthcare environment and the developing healthcare reform initiatives underway across the country.
Klepper has previously been a member of HFMA healthcare delegations to China, Russia, and the United Kingdom.
