Knoxville, TN - Receivables Management Bureau, Inc., a Tennessee-based Receivables Management firm, has announced that Lesa Klepper has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.
Klepper has more than 20 years of revenue cycle experience working primarily with acute care healthcare providers, including a large centralized billing operation, academic trauma centers, community-based suburban hospitals and rural hospitals.
Most recently, Klepper was a Centralized Billing Operation Director for a multi-facility healthcare system in North Carolina. In this position, she was responsible for managing the collection of approximately $780 million a year in revenue.
In her new role as Chief Operating Officer for Receivables Management Bureau, Klepper will be responsible for general management of the operations of the company. Klepper will also be involved in business development and strategic planning for the company.
Klepper holds a B.S. in Business Management from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She is an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and a past president of the Tennessee Chapter. Her interest in international healthcare delivery has been strengthened by her participation in HFMA’s US/UK Exchange in 2002-03 and by traveling with the inaugural HFMA Abroad trip to China in 2007, to Russia in 2008, and with plans to go to South Africa in 2009.
